Dark Web Bust: Round Rock Resident Arrested in Connection with Overdose Death
A recent investigation into an overdose death in Round Rock, Texas, has led to a significant dark web drug bust, with multiple narcotics seized and one person arrested.
Investigation Details
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of David Curry Dr. in Round Rock on February 25, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation into the overdose death of a 77-year-old female on February 4, 2026. The investigation revealed that the victim's death was not related to fentanyl.
The Dark Web Operation
The investigation found that the suspect was using dark web marketplaces to obtain illegal narcotics, which were purchased using cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. According to the sheriff's office,
"The dark web is a highly sophisticated and encrypted portion of the internet designed to provide anonymity to its users. While it has legitimate privacy-related uses, it is also frequently exploited by criminal organizations to facilitate the anonymous sale and distribution of illegal narcotics and other contraband."
The use of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, allows for decentralized, peer-to-peer payments that can be conducted without traditional banking oversight, making financial trails more difficult to trace without advanced investigative techniques.
Seizures
During the search, detectives seized a range of narcotics, including:
- 8.4g liquid LSD
- 161 dose units of LSD tabs
- 26.1g of shrooms
- 5.1g of fentanyl
- 6.6g of testosterone
- 0.7g of THC wax
- 8.9g of Xanax (36.5 pills)
- 140.1g of Methamphetamine (both crystal meth and 310 meth pills)
- 2.3g of marijuana
- 1.2g of ketamine
Additionally, authorities seized:
- A Sig handgun with magazine and ammunition
- Scales
- Baggies
- Over 20 cell phones
- Numerous hard drives, SD cards, thumb drives, laptops, hacking devices, USB drives, and other electronics
Arrest
Jeannot Robinson was arrested and is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Next Steps
This is an ongoing investigation, and authorities are working to determine the full extent of the dark web operation and identify any other individuals involved.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office Organized Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and work to disrupt the dark web operation, and they are urging anyone with information about dark web activity to come forward.
